Enchanted 2 - We Want More!

In February it was announced that Disney was interested in producing a second Enchanted movie.

Since then there hasn’t been a whole lot of new information, but because I’m excited about the possibility of Enchanted 2 we’ll go over what we’ve heard.

Disney would love to have all of the original cast return for the sequel, but the way it sounds none of them are under contract as of yet.

Because Disney wants the whole cast back we can also assume rather safely that there will be some sort of disturbance in Andalasia that brings Prince Edward (James Marsden) and his new wife (Idina Menzel) back to New York City. It would also stand to reason that Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) will still be living in New York and could even be getting closer to marrying.

I have a feeling that there will have to be reassurance that Giselle won’t be an evil step-mother like Queen Narissa (Susan Sarandon) and that there is a chance that everything can end up “Happily Ever After”.

It’s also amazing news that Anne Fletcher will be directing. Fletcher (The Proposal) started her career as a dancer and choreographer and will bring a ton of talent and experience to the musical numbers.
